LUKOIL Nizhnevolzhskneft operates fields in the northern part of the Caspian Sea. There have been eight major discoveries to date: Khvalynskoye, 170 km, Kuvykin, Grayfer (previously known as Rakushechnoye), Yuri Korchagin, Vladimir Filanovski, Khazri and Maganov. Yuri Korchagin was the first development in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea and came onstream in April 2010; Vladimir Filanovski came onstream in October 2016.
