Halfaya
Report summary
Halfaya is a medium-heavy oil field located in the Missan province, 130 kilometres north of Basra. The main reservoir is the Mishrif which produces heavy oil, although oil is produced from several different formations.The field was discovered in the 1970s but remained largely undeveloped until the 2000s.
