Report summary

Haltenpipe is a rich gas pipeline system constructed to transport gas from the Heidrun field located offshore Mid Norway. The pipeline runs from the Haltenbanken area to a methanol plant at Tjeldbergodden in the county of Møre and Romsdal in Mid Norway.Although operated by Gassco Haltenpipe has not been incorporated into the Gassled JV. The low capacity of the methanol plant at Tjeldbergodden has led to spare capacity in Haltenpipe. The capacity of the methanol plant could be increased which would lead to higher volumes flowing via Haltenpipe but there are no firm plans for this. We have assumed a steady throughput of 75 mmcfd from Heidrun to Tjeldbergodden via the Haltenpipe.
