Houston Energy Forum: supply and midstream sessions

At the 2018 Houston Energy Forum, Wood Mackenzie hosted panels to focus on regional supply and midstream constraints. In the both sessions, a diverse group of analysts shared considerations related to upstream, corporate, crude, gas, and NGL topics. The first session focused on the Permian and offered views on different constraining factors for each commodity and the upstream, and the related market implications. The second session looked for areas where constraints are emerging or could emerge. Our commodity and upstream teams zoomed in on the western part of the US, focusing on areas like the Bakken, Niobrara, and Powder River Basin, and downstream market aggregation points. This analysis details the outlook for constraints across commodities and drivers for supply upside.
