Report summary
The In Salah development is an onstream dry gas project in central southern Algeria. The fields are currently operated by an Eni-Equinor-Sonatrach joint venture (JV), following Eni's acquisition of BP's Algeria assets in February 2023. Along with In Amenas, it comprises Equinor's entire Algerian portfolio. In Salah was the first Algerian gas development where IOCs were awarded joint marketing rights.
