Israel's Antitrust Authority seeks Leviathan sale
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Israel's Antitrust Authority announced that the partnership developing the giant Leviathan gas field is to be dissolved. The ruling, subject to an antitrust hearing between the companies and regulator, aims to alleviate the lack of competition in the sector. If enacted it could cause a major setback to Israel's upstream industry, jeopardising export deals and revenues for the state.
