Jinzhou 9-3 is a medium-sized oil and gas field located in the Liao Dong Bay, in northeastern Bohai Bay. Field development began in 1993 but was subsequently suspended due to an oil price drop. The project resumed in 1997, with a revised development plan to reduce overall costs. The field came onstream in December 1999, with one central processing platform (CEP) and two wellhead platforms (WHPs).
