The LUKOIL-operated Kandim-Khauzak-Shadi (KKS) PSC is Uzbekistan's key source of recent upstream investment and gas production growth. It includes two separate areas in the Amu Darya basin: the Khauzak-Shadi gas field and the large Kandim gas field and its six satellites. Raw gas production is about 670 mmcfd (6.9 bcm a year).
