The Lisburne field is a complex fractured carbonate reservoir which has been developed as a satellite of Prudhoe Bay, within the Prudhoe Bay Unit. The Lisburne reservoir underlies the Prudhoe Bay field and is operated by Hilcorp. Water injection pilot programmes were initiated at the field in 2008 and 2012; however, since 2015, the operator has focused on mitigating declines through additional producer wells.
