The Logbaba gas field is in the Douala Basin in the eastern suburbs of Cameroon's largest city, Douala. The field was discovered by Elf Serepca in 1954. Victoria Oil & Gas became operator of the Logbaba licence when it acquired Bramlin in 2008. The field is now operated by Gaz du Cameroun, a 100% owned subsidiary of Victoria Oil & Gas.Since 2012, gas is supplied to local consumers within Douala's industrial area via a 51-kilometre pipeline network for heat generation ...
