This Wood Mackenzie collaborative work with NOVI Labs presents a machine learning-based alternative to inventory estimation in the Williston Basin. This method was used to estimate subsurface quality and well production performance potential for the remaining undeveloped acreage. The underlying data was sourced from Wood Mackenzie's Lens Lower 48 datasets which feature monthly production data and corresponding well-level attributes. The paper was presented at URTEC 2021.
