Malacca Strait
Report summary
Malacca Strait PSC consists of several coastal, primarily mature oil fields in Riau Province. In August 2020, a 20-year licence extension was granted to Energi Mega Persada (EMP). EMP also obtained full participating interest in the block effective September 2020, and is the sole operator through its wholly owned subsidiary PT Imbang Tata Alam. Since taking over in 2020, EMP has focused on developing the TB field to increase oil production.
