Margarita is a large gas/condensate field in block Caipipendi, located in Bolivia's southern sub-Andean foothills. With 12.3 Mcmd (435.7 mmcfd) of gas output, Margarita is currently the highest producing field in Bolivia. In 2016, the operation contract was extended until 2046 and aimed at confirming the presence of gas and accelerating the production of hydrocarbons in the prospects that have already been identified in the area.
