McArthur River Gas

The McArthur River offshore gas field was developed in the mid-1960s and is located approximately 10 kilometres off the west coast of the Cook Inlet. It is one of the largest fields in the region with substantial oil and gas reserves and, having been onstream since 1967, is now nearing the end of its commercial life.
