The Mengo-Kundji-Bindi (MKB) block contains four oil fields: Bindi, Kundji, Mengo and Tchiniambi. The first three fields were brought onstream during the 1980s and 1990s before being shut-in. Kundji was returned to production in 2011 under a production sharing contract (PSC) awarded to Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo (SNPC) in 2007. Trident OGX has been operating the onshore MKB block since 2021.
