Report summary
Meruap is a small oil field in the Jambi Sub-Basin in South Sumatra. In 2008, Samudra Energy took over as the block operator and started a development drilling and facilities upgrade campaign that resulted in a significant production increase. However, reservoir compartmentalisation issues caused greater-than-expected pressure depletion over subsequent years.
