Mexico's Round One — shallow-water exploration results: critical lessons for future licensing phases
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
On 15 July 2015, the first phase of Mexico's Round One concluded with the awarding of two of the fourteen exploration blocks on offer in the shallow waters of the Bay of Campeche. While the results did not meet these expectations, three positive aspects of the closing were the diversity of peer groups represented, the amount of bids close to the government minimum, and the fact that this phase will serve as a learning experience for the future.
