Black Sea Oil & Gas (BSOG) operates the offshore Midia Gas Development in Romania's sector of the Black Sea. Production began in 2022 from the shallow-water Ana and Doina gas fields. BSOG is owned by Carlyle Group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).There are five wells, with operations centred on a small, unmanned platform at Ana - the first to be built and installed in Romania in 30 years.
