The Military Operated Area (MOA) consists of several small oil fields and exploration acreage onshore Northern Thailand, in the Fang sub-basin.In 2006, the Defence Energy Department (DED) farmed out 50% of its interest in the field development area, and some of the exploration acreage, to Niko Resources.
