MOL is the national oil company of Hungary and is the dominant player in the country's upstream sector. MOL accounts for over 99% of Hungarian hydrocarbon production. Approximately 75% of liquids production is crude, while 25% is condensate and NGLs. The biggest producing oil and gas field is Algyö, which lies in the south of the country.
