Report summary

Montenegro is a country in south eastern Europe, which has no history of commercial hydrocarbon production. Hydrocarbon potential lies predominantly in the offshore region of the Adriatic-Dinaric Basin. The geology of Montenegro is analogous to parts of Albania, Croatia and Italy. Since 2010, the Montenegrin government has been working to establish an upstream oil and gas industry.
