Muriah (Kepodang)
Report summary
The Muriah PSC lies in the Java Sea around 200 kilometres northeast of the city of Semarang in central Java. A GSA between the operator and PLN was finally signed on June 2012, followed by a GTA signed in December 2012 with Bakrie and Brothers. Following further delays on the construction of the export pipeline, Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) took a majority stake in the pipeline project in February 2014, and first gas was achieved in August 2015.
