Report summary
The Muzhil field is located offshore in the eastern part of the Gulf of Suez, in water depths of 30-70 metres, approximately nine kilometres south of RWE Dea's Ras Budran field. The field was discovered by National Petroleum Company (NPC) in 2007. A total of eight appraisal and development wells have been drilled to delineate the field. NPC plans to develop the field via a new platform tied back to the Ras Budran facilities.
