Norpipe connects the Ekofisk field and the oil/NGL terminal in Teesside in the UK, and was the first oil pipeline system to be constructed in the Norwegian sector. The pipeline has a design capacity of one million barrels per day, but its nominal capacity is restricted by capacity at the Teesside facilities.
