Norpipe connects the Ekofisk complex to Teesside oil terminal. It was the first oil pipeline system to be constructed in the Norwegian sector and the first oil pipeline to reach landfall in the UK. Oil from both UK and Norwegian developments located in the Central North Sea area is transported through the system to the Teesside oil terminal.Despite its age, Norpipe is in good condition and is expected to continue operations in the long term.
