Northwest Kizilkiya and West Tuzkol (part of the Tuzkol Area) are two of the largest oil discoveries in Kazakhstan's South Turgai basin since 2000. They are respectively 100% and 50% owned by the PetroKazakhstan JV of CNPC, its PetroChina subsidiary and state-run NC KazMunaiGas (NC KMG).
