Omega Sør is an oil and gas discovery located in Norway’s Northern North Sea, around 5 kilometres east of the Snorre B platform. The field was discovered in 2026 and is being considered for development as a subsea tie-back to Snorre. Equinor is fast-tracking the development as part of its drive to accelerate progress projects across the Norwegian Continental Shelf. We expect a plan for development and operation (PDO) to be submitted in Q4 2026, with production starting in Q4 2028. The field will be developed with two production wells and one water injector well with a new four-slot template.
