Report summary
Petroamazonas operates around 60 producing oil fields in the Oriente basin, many of which are legacy fields discovered by the Texaco/Gulf consortium back in the late-1960s/early-1970s.The majority of development work currently performed is centred on decline management. Increases in production are achievable on some of the fields if secondary or tertiary recovery techniques are implemented.
