Report summary

The Qaiyarah and Najmah fields were tendered under two separate contracts in Iraq's second petroleum licence round, held in December 2009. Both fields were awarded to Angola's national oil company, Sonangol. Sonangol accepted a maximum remuneration fee of US$5.00 per barrel to develop Qaiyarah and US$6.00 per barrel for Najmah.
