The Qua Iboe oil pipeline system and terminal form part of the ExxonMobil/NNPCL Joint Venture (JV). The JV is unique in that its acreage is entirely offshore in the shallow waters of the southeastern Niger Delta. Over 10 production and 60 wellhead platforms are connected by a network of offshore oil and gas pipelines, which lead to the Qua Iboe Terminal (QIT).
