Report summary
Shell discovered Rabi in 1985 and brought it onstream in 1989. Production peaked in 1997. Several fields have been discovered close to Rabi, and although much smaller, Rabi's infrastructure and export pipelines greatly enhance the development economics of the satellites. Oil from the Rabi area is piped to two separate destinations: northwards to Total Gabon's Cap Lopez terminal and southwards to Shell's Gamba terminal.Production from Rabi has been in decline since ...
