Report summary
Rydberg (MC 525) is a moderate oil and gas discovery located in the Mississippi Canyon protraction area in 2,273 metres (7,457 feet) of water. The field was discovered by Shell (57.20% interest and operator), Ecopetrol (28.50%), and CNOOC (14.30%) in July 2014. It lies 12 kilometres (7 miles) southwest from Shell's Appomattox facility.
