This analysis includes the Santa Cruz I, Santa Cruz II, and Estancia Agua Fresca areas. Most of the fields were discovered by YPF. Petrobras Argentina operated the areas from the 1990s until 2015 when it sold them to Compañia General de Combustibles (CGC). Gas is injected to manage liquids decline. The rich gas is delivered via the San Martín gas line to the Barda Las Vegas plant or the General Cerri plant in Bahía Blanca where LPG and gasoline is produced.
