Santuario-El Golpe
Report summary
The Santuario block includes three mature fields in Mexico's Salinas-Sureste basin: Santuario, El Golpe and Caracolillo. Originally, in 2011, the block was awarded as a service contract to Petrofac. The block was among the first contracts to be migrated, gaining approval in 2017, when it migrated to a production sharing contract. In 2019 Perenco announced the purchase of the remaining 51% of Petrofac Mexican operations becoming Santuario Block operator. The fields are located in the ...
