The onshore mature Sebou gas fields are situated in northwest Morocco, in the Rharb Basin.The fields were first discovered in the 1960s-1980s but remained undeveloped due to sub-commercial volumes. Circle Oil acquired the acreage in 2008 and undertook an additional exploration campaign between 2008 and 2014, which led to asset development. Production started in 2009.In 2011, Circle Oil built a 55 kilometre pipeline with 20 mmcfd capacity from Sebou to industrial off-takers at Kenitra. The ...
