The onshore mature Sebou gas fields are situated in northwest Morocco, in the Rharb Basin.The fields were first discovered in the 1960s-1980s but remained undeveloped due to sub-commercial volumes. Circle Oil acquired the acreage in 2008 and undertook an additional exploration campaign between 2008 and 2014, which led to asset development.
