Solan
Report summary
The Solan oil field lies 150 kilometres west of the Shetland Islands and 35 kilometres south of the Schiehallion field. Solan is located in shallower water depth, with fewer sea currents, than many other West of Shetland fields. However, it is still in a harsher environment than other areas of the UKCS.Three subsea producers and two subsea water injectors produce the field.
