Report summary
This analysis covers Spain's two remaining onstream developments: El Romeral and Viura.The El Romeral licence is operated by Tarba Energia, a JV between Australian-based Hancock Energy and London-based Prospex Energy. The small gas fields lie in the Rio Guadalquivir Basin in southwest Spain and started producing in 2002.The Viura deposit, operated by Heyco Energy Iberia, is located in La Rioja in northern Spain and started producing in 2015. It is the largest remaining gas field in Spain.
