Report summary
Stampede, which comprises the discoveries formerly known as Knotty Head (GC 512) and Pony (GC 468), is a subsalt oil field located in the Green Canyon protraction area in the Central Gulf of Mexico. Knotty Head was discovered in August 2005 and is the northern portion of Stampede, while Pony was discovered in 2006 and makes up the southern portion.The Stampede JV reached project FID in October 2014, and the field came onstream in January 2018.
