The year was Sub-Saharan Africa in a nutshell, showcasing the best the region has to offer, but also its weaknesses too. Namibia was the outstanding success story, but as 2022 well-illustrated, above-ground-risks, ease of doing business and ageing production in West Africa are undoubtedly the region's weaknesses.
