Tartan Area
Report summary
Tartan Area consists of five oil fields: Duart, Highlander, Petronella, Tartan and Tartan North Terrace. The field are located in the Central North Sea, 14 kilometres southwest of the Piper field. The Tartan field was developed via a single steel platform and subsea completions. Duart, Highlander, Petronella and Tartan North Terrace were developed as single subsea well tie-backs in to the Tartan infrastructure. The Galley re-development was also tied back to Tartan in 2008.
