Tchatamba Marin, Tchatamba South and Tchatamba West are located in shallow water, offshore Gabon. They form the Kowe licence. Marathon discovered the fields between 1995 and 1998, and developed them using wellhead tripods and platforms. First oil was produced in 1998.Initially, production was exported via a floating, storage and offloading (FSO) vessel, the Madiela.
