Report summary
The Temsah development lies adjacent to Eni's Port Fouad development offshore Egypt. Eni was awarded the licence in 1991 and made its first discovery in 1995 with the Denise-1 well. Twelve fields containing over 3.5 tcf of gas have since been discovered on the block. The operator was awarded a development licence in 1996, and, in 1998, a gas sales agreement was reached to supply gas to the domestic market.
