The onstream Tinrhert development in eastern Algeria comprises of 17 wet gas fields. Sonatrach operates the fields. Thefields are small and geographically dispersed, but benefit from existing Sonatrach infrastructure. Gas, condensate and LPG production is processed at Ohanet, Tamadanet and Alrar, fromwhere it enters the national pipeline network.Most fields were discovered in the 1960s and 1970s by CREPS (65% French public companies, 35% Shell) and then Sonatrach.
