The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) will be the final stage of Europe's Southern Gas Corridor, delivering 970 mmcfd (10 bcm per year) of Shah Deniz Phase Two gas to southern Italy via Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea. The pipeline will start at the Greece-Turkey border, where it will connect with the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP), which transports Shah Deniz gas across Turkey.TAP construction began in 2016 and onshore work in Greece and Albania is now extremely well advanced.
