Tucker
Report summary
The Tucker project is located 30 kilometres northwest of the Town of Cold Lake in Alberta. The Tucker project uses Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) technology to explore bitumen trapped in the Clearwater Formation. The original operator (Husky Energy) applied to develop a 30,000-b/d commercial project at Tucker in February 2003. Approval was granted by the end of 2003 and development commenced in July 2004.
