The Focused International peer group has come under pressure in this down-cycle. Financial stress has forced aggressive cuts and strategies have had to adjust. But first production from a wave of new projects is beginning to de-risk the near-term outlook. Challenges remain and difficult choices will need to be made as the companies balance the need to deleverage and apply capital discipline with the challenge of delivering a new phase of growth. We review the performance and outlook for the peer group, using our Corporate Benchmarking Tool (CBT) and Corporate Service. Our analysis examines delivered metrics for the last five reported years 2011 to 2015. Using our proprietary data, we also rank the companies on forward-looking investment, financial, value and volume based metrics to 2020 and beyond.
