Eni operates the onshore Val d'Agri project, which is Italy's largest oil and gas development and the Major's most important upstream asset in the country. The licence covers five deposits, of which Val d'Agri is by far the largest.In 2024, oil output was approximately 34,000 b/d, which accounted for about 40% of total Italian liquids production.
