The Valemon Area contains the Valemon and Valemon Vest high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) oil and gas fields in the Norwegian North Sea near Gullfaks and Kvitebjørn. Although the Valemon field was appraised during the 1990s, it wasn't until further appraisal in 2006 that the operator began to evaluate development concepts.
