Report summary
The Vizcacheras block is located directly to the east of the YPF-operated La Ventana concession. During 2001, the operator stepped up the level of development activity on the field and succeeded in reversing the production decline of the late-1990s. Continued high levels of drilling in 2002 further increased production to a peak of over 21,000 b/d. In 2012 YPF was able to offset production declines due to the Vizcacheras Oeste discovery.
