Report summary
Wandoo is a mature heavy oil field located offshore Western Australia in the Dampier Sub-Basin. Production commenced in October 1993 under an extended production test. A full-scale development, costing US$283 million, was brought onstream in March 1997, at an initial rate of 30,000 b/d. The processing and drilling facilities are housed on a large steel base which is fixed to a gravity-based concrete structure (Wandoo B) located on the seabed.
